Someone told me that once in a life you should do the job in a call center. You will get experiences & skills that you will not get from any other job.
Yes, it proved right for me. I learned a lot of things there. the first month was a training month there. So the whole of that period we just had lots of fun by doing various activities. also, that training was kinds of personality development training so think I improved from that also.
In the last days of training, I remember we did one activity. in that activity, everyone has to write one good quality of others that they notice within this time. for some people, I feel that it is quite easy to fill pages about their qualities & for some people I was like that I even can not write one sentence for them because I did not like them & I cannot see an even single quality in them.
But as a part of activity, i have to write one sentence for everyone so I did. I find it too difficult at that time. but in the end from that activity, I learned to see a good thing in everyone.
After the training our job started, work was new to us so I find it quite interesting to talk with different kind of persons, help them & all. that is also a new development in me because I am that kind of girl who doesn't like to talk on phones, in personal life I prefer to message or chat people while I want to interect. even sometimes I cut the calls due to my laziness to talk on phones. but there is no change in me even after work in call center, I still don't like to talk on calls. Lol.
But major thing i faced when the job was started is that all people changed. I was in the belief that one month is more than enough to know persons that friends I made. at that point, i proved wrong myself. the friends to whom I think they are my best friends they got new friends there, & who friends I did not speak that much they become my best friends. I accept that is the part of life so I don't have any regret for that.
For most of the people call center jobs are just for timepass, including me, ao as 1st & 2nd month passed friends left the job. that is little shocking moment that we will not meet again in life but it is also part of the life so I accepted it & I find more new friends there, here I recalling one "shayri" in this situation that is "मैं अकेला ही चला था जानिब-ए-मंज़िल मगर, लोग साथ आते गये और कारवां बनता गया"
In this job, i learned to talk with calm even if a person in front of you is very angry, make him calm & turn his/her anger into smile. I learned to see good things in everyone. as here I met people with different education so knowledge and experiences what they have they shared with us & I learned from that also. & as this was my first job so the most important thing I was done is I celebrated my mom's birthday with my salary, that was truly given me happiness. so will say this job gives me lots of things in my life, & they will be memorable for me for my whole life.
In the end of the third month, I left the job. like previous people I also left the job without informing anyone, I have that regret to hurt my best friend who believed that I will always with him during a job, but as I was not getting any kick I left the job.
Lastly, I also want to suggest new freshers that everyone should do a job in call center once in a life. it brings change in your life, change may be small or big depends on a person, but memories & experience you will get that will be amazing for you & your life.
