बहुत समय पहले की बात है, एक छोटे से गाँव में गेंदू नामक एक गेंद रहती थी। गेंदू बहुत आलसी थी और वह सदैव खुद को सिर्फ मस्ती और खेल में ही खोयी रहती थी। 

एक दिन, गेंदू ने एक मेंढ़क से मिलकर दोस्ती कर ली। मेंढ़क नामक वह दोस्त बहुत मेहनती और बुद्धिमान था। वह हमेशा अपने काम में मेहनत करता था और दूसरों की मदद करने में भी रुचि रखता था। 

गेंदू और मेंढ़क ने मिलकर खेतों में बहुत सारा काम किया। मेंढ़क हमेशा सोचता था कि मेहनत करना हमें आगे बढ़ाएगा और आलस्य से बचाएगा। वह गेंदू को भी यह सिखाने की कोशिश करता था, पर गेंदू हमेशा उसकी बातों को ध्यान नहीं देती थी। 

फिर एक दिन, बारिश हो गई और गाँव के पास एक बड़ा सागर बना। मेंढ़क ने गेंदू से कहा, "दोस्त, बड़ा सागर बना है। हमें इसमें पानी भरने के लिए मिलकर काम करना चाहिए ताकि हम सभी को बहुत सारा पानी मिले।"

गेंदू ने मेंढ़क की बातों को सुनकर समझा कि अब उसे भी काम करना पड़ेगा। वह मेंढ़क के साथ मिलकर काम करने लगी। 

मेहनती और बुद्धिमानी से वे दोनों ने सागर में पानी भरा और गाँववालों को मदद की। सभी लोग खुश थे कि उनके बीच में मेंढ़क ने गेंदू को सिखाया कि मेहनत से ही सफलता मिलती है।

इस कहानी से हमें यह सिखने को मिलता है कि मेहनत करना हमें सफलता तक पहुंचा सकता है और दूसरों की सुनना हमें बेहतर बना सकता है।

Long ago, in a small village, there lived a ball named Gendu. Gendu was very lazy and always lost in play and fun.

One day, Gendu made friends with a frog named Mendhak. Mendhak was hardworking and wise. He always worked diligently and had an interest in helping others.

Gendu and Mendhak joined hands to work in the fields. Mendhak believed that hard work would lead them to success and tried to teach Gendu the importance of it. However, Gendu paid little attention to Mendhak's advice and continued to be lazy.

One day, it rained heavily, and a large pond formed near the village. Mendhak told Gendu, "Friend, a big pond has formed. We should work together to fill it with water so that everyone can have plenty."

Listening to Mendhak, Gendu understood that it was time for him to work. Together, they started working to fill the pond with water.

With their hard work and wisdom, they successfully filled the pond, providing water for everyone in the village. All the villagers were happy and grateful for their teamwork.

From this story, we learn that hard work can lead us to success, and listening to others can make us better individuals.
