एक समय की बात है, एक छोटा सा बिल्ला नामक जानवर था। वह बहुत ही लालची था। रोज़ वह अपने जंगल में घूमता फिरता और खाने की तलाश में चिड़ियों के पीछे-पीछे भागता था। 

एक दिन, उसने एक मिठाई की दुकान देखी। उसमें बहुत सी मिठाइयाँ थीं। उसने दुकानदार से कहा, "मुझे थोड़ी मिठाई दो, मैं बहुत भूखा हूँ।" 

दुकानदार ने कहा, "ठीक है, लेकिन पहले तुम मेरे लिए एक काम करो।" 

बिल्ला ने कहा, "कौनसा काम?" 

दुकानदार ने कहा, "वहाँ एक चूहा रहता है, वह मेरे फलों को चोरी कर लेता है। तुम उस चूहे को पकड़ो, तो मैं तुम्हें मिठाई दूंगा।" 

बिल्ला ने लालच में आकर उसे मान लिया। उसने चूहे को पकड़ने का प्रयास किया, लेकिन चूहा बिल्ले से चला गया और बिल्ला ने मिठाई नहीं पाई।

बिल्ला को अब समझ आया कि लालच का परिणाम हमेशा बुरा होता है। उसने फिर कभी लालच नहीं किया और अपने खाने को साझा करने का फैसला किया। 

इस कहानी से हमें यह सिख मिलती है कि लालच बुरा होता है और हमें साझा करना चाहिए।

Once upon a time, there was a small cat named Billu. He was very greedy. Every day, he wandered around in his jungle, chasing birds in search of food.

One day, he saw a sweet shop. It had many sweets. He said to the shopkeeper, "Give me some sweets, I am very hungry."

The shopkeeper said, "Okay, but first, do me a favor."

Billu asked, "What work?"

The shopkeeper said, "There is a mouse there, he steals my fruits. If you catch that mouse, I will give you sweets."

Driven by greed, Billu agreed. He tried to catch the mouse, but the mouse ran away and Billu couldn't get any sweets.

Now Billu understood that greed always leads to bad consequences. He decided never to be greedy again and chose to share his food instead.

From this story, we learn that greed is bad and we should share.
